Leveraging the powerful APIs of the AHI (Audio Hardware Interface) subsystem and
a ZUNE-based graphical interface, it offers a clean, modern, and highly
functional interface for capturing digital audio streams directly via
Microphone.
Main Features
Complete AHI Integration: Supports dynamic allocation of audio modes, channel
monitoring, and flexible selection of available hardware inputs.
Sampling and Formats: Handles standard sampling rates (22050 Hz, 44100 Hz, 48000
Hz) with real-time conversion and support for Stereo or Mono tracks (with
summing or single-channel selection options).
Gain Control and Clip Detection: Includes a software amplification system (up to
16x) and a real-time clipping detection system to preserve audio quality.
MP3 and External Encoder Support: In addition to the native WAV format (16-bit
PCM), the application allows invoking external encoders via the command line for
automatic conversion to MP3 format.
Localization in Italian, English, Spanish, French, German, and Polish: Designed
with a catalog system (.catalog) to easily support translation into several
other languages.
